Are you an experienced RNLD or RMN with a background in learning disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviours and complex care?
We're recruiting for a Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead to join an established community care provider supporting adults and children with learning disabilities, mental health needs, brain injuries and challenging behaviours across the West Midlands.
This is a senior clinical position combining clinical leadership, assessments, care planning, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), risk management, staff training, competency assessment and clinical governance.
A major focus will be ARC (Assessment, Risk Management and Crisis Intervention), supporting frontline teams to deliver safe, therapeutic and least-restrictive care.
Monday-Friday working pattern

As the Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead, you'll provide clinical leadership across specialist community care packages, working closely with care teams, families, commissioners and multidisciplinary professionals.
Developing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments
Providing clinical leadership across complex community care packages
Delivering and quality assuring ARC training
Assessing behavioural triggers, risks and changing needs
Delivering staff training and competency assessments
Coaching and mentoring frontline care teams
Maintaining compliance with CQC, NMC and safeguarding standardsThe role includes responsibility for embedding ARC principles into care planning, risk assessments, PBS plans and crisis-intervention strategies.
To be considered for this Learning Disabilities Clinical Lead position, you'll need:
Registered RNLD or RMN with active NMC registration
Experience supporting adults and/or children with learning disabilities, mental health needs, challenging behaviours or complex needs
Strong clinical assessment, care planning and risk assessment experience
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and least-restrictive practice
Full UK driving licence and access to transportExperience delivering or implementing ARC or an equivalent crisis-intervention framework within complex care is required.
