Lead Test Engineer

Are you an experienced Test Engineer ready to take the lead on testing, fault-finding and product validation within a highly technical manufacturing environment?   We’re working with a Birmingham-based engineering and manufacturing business that is looking for a proactive Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer to take technical ownership of all product and system testing activities.   Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer   Permanent Excellent Salary Monday-Friday 7:30-16:00 and 7:30-12:00 on Friday Birmingham Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer Lead functional, electrical, environmental and system testing Develop and continuously improve test strategies and procedures Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer witness testing Carry out electrical and electronic fault-finding and root cause analysis Support production, commissioning and customer activities Manage test equipment, calibration and technical documentation  Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification Experience within Aerospace, Defence, Marine, Rail, Oil & Gas or ATEX-regulated environments Significant manufacturing test engineering experience Proven experience leading testing activities within a regulated industry Strong electrical/electronic fault-finding skills Experience leading FATs and customer witness testing  Lead Manufacturing Test Engineer Ideally you will have experience with: LV switchgear, inverters, drives and VFDs 440V 3-phase power systems HiPOT/DWV testing up to 4kV  If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
