Protocol Education is looking for Learning Support Assistants to join schools across Bristol, with opportunities available in Primary, Secondary and specialist SEND settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils and providing the individual support they need to succeed. What will you be doing? Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support. Helping pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning. Supporting students who may require additional educational or emotional support. Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources. Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and social development. Adapting support to suit different learning styles and individual needs. Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and other staff. Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment. Who are we looking for? We welcome applications from candidates with experience as: Learning Support Assistants Teaching Assistants SEN Teaching Assistants Classroom Assistants Youth Workers Support Workers Mentors Behaviour Support Workers Mental Health Support Workers Relevant experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals will also be considered. You should be: Patient, compassionate and reliable. A confident communicator and good team player. Adaptable and willing to learn. Passionate about supporting young people's development. Able to build trust and positive relationships with pupils.
