Make a real difference in education

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking, inclusive primary school dedicated to helping every child thrive. If you have previous experience working with autistic children and or/those with social communication barriers, we would love to hear from you.

  • Support pupils across all year groups, delivering the TEACHH approach

About You

  • You will have previous experience delivering speech and language/physiotherapy/occupational therapy programmes
  • You will have previous experience working with children with complex, additional needs.
  • It would be advantageous to be qualified to level 3 in early years or equivalent but it is not essential.

Why Join Locking Primary School?

Become part of a welcoming village school community where every child is encouraged to be resilient, enthusiastic, and aspirational. We focus on nurturing the whole child, fostering a love of learning, and building a strong sense of belonging. Our goal is to ensure that every pupil and staff member feels included and supported, encouraging a community where everyone can thrive together.

What We Offer:

  • Above‑average pension contributions
  • Five paid carer’s days (pro rata)
