Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Surrey Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day Job Overview: Supply Staff Ltd is seeking caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for schools across Surrey. This role is ideal for an LSA who wants to provide academic, social and emotional support to students with additional needs. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will assist teachers in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities and help create an inclusive classroom environment where every student has equal access to education. Key Responsibilities: * Provide tailored support to students as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). * Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities. * Help students develop their learning, communication and social skills. * Monitor and report on student progress to teachers. * Work closely with teachers, parents and specialists to support individual needs. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or similar role is desirable. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Patience and empathy when working with students with additional needs. * Willingness to learn and participate in relevant training. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply. * Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.
