Learning Support Assistants Southport (PR9)  Secondary Schools The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with a new Multi Academy Trust, to recruit Learning Support Assistants on a supply basis. This could include day to day cover, shorter term, longer term and even potential permanent opportunties.  This is an excellent opportunity for flexible work within a supportive multi-academy trust, helping pupils achieve their full potential, throughout the academic year. The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, SEMH and/or additional learning needs where required Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Build strong working relationships with Teachers, Support staff, Pastoral teams, Parents and Carers What we are looing for: Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting Experience supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH) is desirable but not essential Newly qualified or aspiring Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants are encouraged to apply Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential Have a passion for supporting young people & have excellent & adaptable communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through The Supply Register) What We Offer: Flexible supply work to fit around your availability Opportunities across multiple schools within multiple trusts Competitive daily pay rates Ongoing support from a dedicated partnership team Access to training and CPD opportunities How to Apply: Apply today through The Supply Register to join our supply pool and support schools within our partner trusts and others
