Primary schools across Wakefield and Kirklees are seeking caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. The Role
- 1:1 SEN support for pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, learning delays, and social-emotional needs
- Supporting children within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on the school's requirements
- Helping pupils access learning, regulate emotions, and build confidence
- Working closely with class teachers and SEND teams to deliver personalised strategies
- Encouraging independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction
- Creating a calm, nurturing and safe learning environment
