Learning Support Mentor Pay: £90-£115 per day - DOE Mon-Fri, Daily Hours 8:00am - 4:00pm Full-time / Term Time Only Chigwell, Essex We're looking for dedicated Learning Support Mentors to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people thrive while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, youth work, or mental health support. Learning Support Mentor Role: Supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and learning Providing tailored support to help pupils overcome barriers to education Assisting with behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies Supporting teachers in creating a positive, structured learning environment Building strong relationships that encourage confidence, resilience, and academic progressLearning Support Mentor Requirements: Genuine interest in supporting children and young people Patient, calm, and proactive approach Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience working with children or young people in any setting is beneficial Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, Counsellors, or PsychologistsIf you're interested in this Learning Support Mentor role, please contact Aaron Nacey-Smart at Veritas Education.
