Legal Cashier

£30,000 - £38,000 DOE | Hybrid working available

An opportunity is available for an experienced Legal Cashier to take ownership of the cashiering function within an established legal environment. The role will suit someone with a strong understanding of legal accounts who can manage the cashiering department independently and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the function.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the legal cashiering function.
• Process legal transactions and maintain accurate client and office accounts.
• Use LEAP confidently across the cashiering function.
• Manage and process wages/payroll.
• Support matters involving deputyship accounts.
• Ensure legal accounts procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
• Manage the work of one Finance/Cashier Assistant, subject to the existing team structure.
• Take ownership of queries and resolve issues relating to client and office accounts.
• Work closely with the wider legal and finance teams.

You will have previous experience working as a Legal Cashier and be able to manage a cashiering function with a high level of independence. Experience using LEAP is required, alongside knowledge of legal accounts and payroll. E...
