Property Legal Secretary
to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Nantwich. Supporting the firm's Commercial and Residential Property Department, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Fee Earners while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive Legal Secretary with a strong background in property law who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Fee Earners within the Commercial and Residential Property Department. Produce accurate legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation. Manage files using case management software (experience with Smokeball is advantageous but not essential). Prepare legal documentation, correspondence, and reports. Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, HM Land Registry, lenders, and other solicitors. Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries. Carry out filing, scanning, photocopying, and other administrative duties. Assist with diary management, appointments, and document preparation. Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines. Occasional reception cover About You
The successful candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary
, ideally within Residential and/or Commercial Property. Excellent audio typing and digital dictation skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and a professional, client-focused approach. Good typing speed and accuracy (RSA/Pitman qualifications or equivalent experience are advantageous).
