is expanding its operations and seeking a dependable
Legionella Risk Assessor
to cover the Central/ Eastern UK region. This is a pivotal role within a growing team, offering the chance to manage high-compliance environments for major commercial and MOD-security cleared sites.
The Opportunity : You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex water systems. Your day-to-day remit involves a blend of technical auditing and field-based risk management:
Conducting comprehensive
Legionella Risk Assessments
across diverse water systems.
Performing detailed audits of management regimes and
Written Schemes of Control .
Executing internal quality checks to ensure rigorous technical standards are maintained.
Delivering general water hygiene tasks including sampling, temperature monitoring, and flushing.
Technical Essentials
To be successful, you must demonstrate high-level technical proficiency and a commitment to regulatory excellence:
Mandatory:
City & Guilds qualification in
Legionella Risk Assessment .
Compliance Expert:
Deep working knowledge of
ACoP L8 ,
HSG274 , and
BS:8580 .
System Knowledge:
Experience with complex systems, including water softeners, industrial processes, and vehicle washes.
Reporting:
Strong IT literacy (Word/Excel) with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
Vetting:
Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance.
Mobility:
Full UK Driving License (Regional travel required).
