Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Northampton Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Northampton Tradewind Recruitment | Full-Time | September Start | Northampton Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within one of our partner schools in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a recently qualified Level 2 TA who is passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom. You will provide targeted interventions, support small-group learning and, where required, offer 1:1 assistance to pupils who may need additional support. The successful candidate will be confident building positive relationships with students, demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a proactive approach to supporting learning. Key responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons Working with individual students and small groups Assisting with classroom preparation and learning activities Supporting students with varying learning needs Monitoring student progress and providing feedback Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging student engagement Helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentThe ideal candidate will have: A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience Previous experience working within a school environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, patient and adaptable approach A strong understanding of safeguarding practices An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain oneWhy work with Tradewind Recruitment?
