We are seeking a skilled technician to join our established commercial vehicle maintenance team in Weston-super-Mare.In the HGV Technician role, you will play a central part in keeping essential, high-profile commercial vehicles operating safely and reliably across the region. From routine MOT preparations to complex system diagnostics, you will enjoy a varied day-to-day workload within a safety-conscious and supportive team.Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Carry out preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and repairs on commercial vehicles, plant, and equipment to DVSA and manufacturer standards.MOT Preparation: Perform detailed inspections and complete all necessary prep work to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair complex auto-electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Field Support: Team Leadership: Maintain accurate documentation, ensure workshop safety, and mentor apprentices within the team.HGV Technician Requirements Qualified Specialist: Apprenticeship trained with a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).Solid experience in commercial vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairexperience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and waste management bodywork systems is a strong advantage.License: A valid LGV Class C / HGV Class 2 licence is desirable, but not essential.How to ApplyReady to take the next step in your career with a leading commercial fleet operator?
