Job Specification Loading Shovel Operator Position: Loading Shovel Operator Location: North Shields Start Date: 3 August 2026 Duration: 2 Weeks Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour Overview We are looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join a project in North Shields. This is for 2 weeks starting Monday 3rd August 2026 , offering £22.00 per hour . Key Responsibilities Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently. Load, move, and stockpile materials as directed. Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects. Follow all site health and safety procedures. Work closely with the site team to ensure efficient site operations. Requirements Valid CPCS or NPORS Loading Shovel qualification. Previous experience operating loading shovels on construction, quarry, or industrial sites. Good understanding of site health and safety requirements. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Full PPE.
