Full job description Loading Shovel Driver – Ufton (CV33) Location: Ufton, CV33 Hours: Monday – Friday | 07:00 – 17:00 Weekend overtime available Guaranteed hours available Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join a leading Waste Management and Composting specialist based in the Ufton area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine operator looking for stable work, guaranteed hours, and long-term opportunities within a growing industry. The Role: You will be responsible for operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently across a busy composting and waste processing facility, working outdoors in all weather conditions. Main Duties: * Operating a loading shovel safely on site * Loading collection and arctic vehicles * Feeding shredders, screeners, tunnels, and processing equipment * Transporting materials across the facility * Supporting composting operations * Carrying out basic maintenance including greasing and cleaning mobile plant * Following all Health & Safety procedures What We’re Looking For: * Valid Wheeled Loading Shovel licence/certificate * Previous loading shovel experience essential * Experience within waste, recycling, or composting environments preferred * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Reliable and hardworking attitude * Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment Working Hours * Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 17:00 * 47.5 hours per week * Saturday: 07:00 – 16:00 (as required) * Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00 (as required) If you are an experienced Loading Shovel Driver looking for your next opportunity, apply now and a member of the Smart Solutions team will be in touch..
