About the Role:

Sellick Partnership is looking for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a large local authority legal team in the East Midlands. This role is offered on an intial 3 month basis but is likely to go on for a lot longer than that!

Key Responsibilities of a Childcare Lawyer:

• 
  
• To advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the protection and care of children

To competently carry a caseload of public childcare matters

To advocate, when necessary, at the Family Court

To provide policy advice and specialist Childcare services

Desirable Skills and Requirements of a Childcare Lawyer:

• 
  
• Previous experience working in the public sector/local authorities

Previous experience handling childcare cases
