£55-60 umbrella

We are currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join a well-regarded local authority on a 3-6 month basis with likelihood of extension!

The successful Childcare Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings and pre-proceedings work.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of childcare matters

Providing legal advice on all aspects of public law children's work

Drafting legal documentation, including statements and threshold documents

Candidate Requirements

• 
  
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.

Demonstrable Childcare experience.

Previous experience in Local Authority or the wider public sector is desirable.

Available to start at short notice is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be available to join the authority offering fulltime hours on a remote basis. Some adhoc attendance in the office for team away days would be welcomed although not essential.
