Essex Showroom Established in 1995, Quorn Stone is a leading retailer and importer of luxury natural stone and porcelain flooring. With showrooms across the UK and our Head Office based in Leicestershire, we are passionate about delivering the highest quality products alongside exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Showroom Manager to lead our Essex Showroom. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded individual with a passion for interiors and customer service to join our retail team. Salary: Base Salary of £33,000.00£36,000.00 plus performance bonus potential of up to £20,925 (OTE £56,925) Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week with 2 days off Location: Essex, United Kingdom The Role:
As the Showroom Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the showroom, ensuring it is always presented to the highest standard. You'll lead a small sales team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and provide expert advice on product suitability, design, and interiors. You'll manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to aftercare, ensuring every client receives a premium service while helping drive showroom performance and sales. What You Will Be Doing:
Leading, motivating, and supporting a small showroom sales team
Welcoming customers into the showroom and building long-lasting client relationships
Providing expert advice on product suitability, sizing, pricing, and interior design
Preparing quotations, processing payments, arranging deliveries, and managing after-sales care
Managing the showroom diary and online appointment bookings
Maintaining accurate customer records and daily activity within the CRM system
Resolving customer queries and finding effective solutions
Ensuring the showroom is beautifully presented and reflects the Quorn Stone brand standards
Driving sales performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience
To Be A Successful Showroom Manager, You Will Need:
Excellent customer service, organisation, and time management skills
Confidence engaging with customers face-to-face and building rapport
Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clear and professional emails
A commercially minded approach with a proven track record of driving sales
Exceptional attention to detail
A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
The ability to use initiative and anticipate business needs
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Desirable: A background in interiors, design, or a creative industry
High-end retail experience
Full UK driving licence
