The job in a nutshell: This one is a little different.
They'renot just looking for an established M&E/MEP Manager.
If you're currently working withinMechanical or Electrical project delivery and have the technical knowledge, site experience and ambition to take on broader responsibility, this could be your opportunity to make that step.
Equally, if you're already an experienced M&E/MEP Manager, the role can be shaped at a more senior level.
You'll become a key M&E contact across construction and fit-out projects, working alongside Project Managers, clients, architects, consultants, designers and specialist subcontractors.
There will be regular travel to GB projects, typicallyTuesdayThursday, around three days per week.
What you'll be getting involved in: Supporting and ultimately leading M&E/MEP delivery across projects Providing technical Mechanical and/or Electrical guidance Coordinating M&E design development Reviewing drawings, designs and specifications Managing specialist M&E subcontractors Identifying design and buildability issues before they impact delivery Finding value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities Monitoring installation works against programme Supporting procurement, testing and commissioning Attending meetings with clients, architects and consultants Developing practical solutions to technical M&E problems Should you apply? The key requirement is a genuineMechanical or Electrical background with enough technical project experience to confidently discuss installations, drawings, design coordination and practical project issues.
You could currently be working as a: Mechanical Project Manager Electrical Project Manager Mechanical Contracts Manager Electrical Contracts Manager M&E / MEP Manager Experienced Mechanical or Electrical professional ready to progress The business is deliberately open-minded on seniority.
The responsibility and therefore the £35k£65k salary will depend on where you currently sit and how much responsibility you're ready to take on.
You will need to be comfortable travelling to projects in Great Britain approximatelythree days per week.
