M&E Shift Leader

Job Reference: 1221 Job Title: M&E Shift Leader Salary: £65,000 per annum + £3,000 HVAP Bonus Location: City of London Job Type: Technical / Engineering Working Hours: Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights, 7am 7pm Job Summary Were looking for a technically strong M&E Shift Leader to take responsibility for the engineering operations on a prestigious commercial building in the City of London. The ideal candidate will have a strong M&E background, be confident communicating with the client and contractors, and have the technical ability to take ownership of issues and lead the engineering team on shift. HVAP is preferred but not essential, with full training funded for the right candidate. HVAP-qualified engineers will receive an additional £3,000 annual bonus, taking the total package to £68,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities Lead the engineering team during day and night shifts. Take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of M&E building services. Carry out and oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Provide strong technical support and guidance to engineers on shift. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults. Monitor critical plant and building services systems. Ensure all PPM and reactive works are completed to the required standards. Ensure compliance with statutory, health & safety and site requirements. Requirements Strong technical M&E engineering background. Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification at Level 3 or equivalent. Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Shift Engineer, Senior Engineer or similar. Strong electrical knowledge is highly desirable. HVAP qualification preferred but not essential. Willingness to undertake HVAP training if required. Right to work in the UK.
