Machine Minder – Hygiene Team (Nights)

Keeping production moving starts long before the next shift arrives. As a Machine Minder – Hygiene Team (Nights), you’ll make sure essential equipment is thoroughly cleaned, correctly reassembled and ready to perform, helping maintain the food safety standards the entire operation relies on.   This is a hands-on opportunity within an established food manufacturing environment where your mechanical knowledge will be put to practical use. You’ll work with production equipment, identify basic issues and collaborate with Engineering and Production to keep downtime to a minimum.   What’s in it for you £13.86 per hour with permanent, full-time employment A 4 on, 4 off shift pattern giving you regular blocks of time away from work Full training to help you develop your knowledge of equipment and hygiene processes Ongoing development with opportunities to progress Free on-site parking A stable position within an established food manufacturing operation  Your responsibilities as Machine Minder – Hygiene Team (Nights) Operate and monitor cleaning equipment to maintain effective hygiene processes Inspect machinery before, during and after cleaning, identifying potential faults or maintenance requirements Dismantle, thoroughly clean and correctly reassemble production equipment Complete basic adjustments and work alongside Engineering and Production to minimise downtime Carry out hygiene activities in line with food safety, HACCP, audit and Health & Safety requirements Maintain accurate cleaning records, equipment checks and a safe working environment  What we’re looking for in a Machine Minder – Hygiene Team (Nights) Previous experience operating or monitoring machinery within food manufacturing, production or a similar environment Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to recognise basic equipment issues Knowledge of high hygiene standards within a food production environment Understanding of food safety, Health & Safety and HACCP procedures Ability to complete equipment checks and hygiene documentation accurately  Working hours: 4 on, 4 off nights, 5:30pm–5:30am.   If you’re ready to put your mechanical skills to work and help keep a busy food manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently, apply today for the Machine Minder – Hygiene Team (Nights) position
