Machine Operator

Working within a small, friendly team, you'll carry out a variety of production and manufacturing duties, making this a varied and hands-on position. Key Responsibilities * Moving and handling materials and finished products around the factory * Picking materials ready for production * Measuring and marking materials accurately * Cutting materials using machinery and hand tools * Operating production machinery safely and efficiently * Assembling products to a high standard * Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area * Working to production schedules and quality standards What We're Looking For Essential * Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment * Good practical skills with strong attention to detail * Ability to use measuring equipment accurately * A positive attitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work well as part of a team Desirable * Previous machine operating experience * FLT (Forklift Truck) licence * Experience using hand and power tools * Assembly or fabrication experience What's on Offer * Permanent, full-time position * Monday to Friday working hours * Day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm * £13.00 - £13.90 per hour, depending on experience * 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays ...
