Maintenance Electrician | Onley (11159) Onley, Rugby Salary: £29,000 - £35,000 39 hours per week | Rotating shift pattern (1 in 3 weekends) Looking for a role where your skills make a real difference every day? We're offering an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team, supporting the delivery of essential services that keep secure environments safe, compliant and operational. Responsibilities
Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including associated administrative tasks Fault finding and problem solving on a range of electrical systems Like-for-like replacements and minor electrical works Carrying out electrical inspections and testing in accordance with
BS7671 , with accurate recording of results Ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational Supporting the Responsible Person and Authorised Person when required Ensuring Health & Safety standards, risk assessments, and safe systems of work are consistently followed Assisting with escorting duties and other site-related tasks as required
Requirements City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) BS7671 18th Edition (17th Edition considered with upskilling available) Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements Experience in planned and preventative maintenance Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and use initiative Experience working to tight deadlines Comfortable working at heights Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations Basic IT skills Desirable: Experience with fire alarm and CCTV systems
