Maintenance Engineer (Canning) Salary: Up to £56,000 per annum Location: Middlesbrough Reporting to: - Engineering Manager Hours: Monday – Friday (days) (flexibility may be needed) Type: Full time / Permanent Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on canning and packaging equipment, and bottling equipment when required. * Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults. * Minimise downtime through effective fault finding, root cause analysis, and Root Failure Analysis (RFA). * Support the site's Reliability Programme through proactive maintenance and equipment improvement activities. * Identify and implement opportunities to improve asset reliability, maintainability, and performance. * Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, reliability, quality, and efficiency. * Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CMMS system. * Support equipment installations, upgrades, and engineering projects. * Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Food Safety requirements. * Work collaboratively with Production and Operations teams to maximise equipment performance and OEE. * Leadership, Coaching & Influence As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be expected to lead by example and positively influence others through your behaviours, technical ...
