Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Part Time Location: Gillingham Hours: 3 days per week Employment Type: Part-time We are looking for an experienced and reliable Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gillingham on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance engineer looking for a flexible part-time role within a busy working environment. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, helping to ensure our machinery, systems and facilities remain safe, reliable and operational. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Maintain machinery, equipment and site services. Identify potential problems and carry out preventative repairs. Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Work closely with the wider team to minimise equipment downtime. Follow all relevant health & safety procedures.About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as an electrical/mechanical maintenance engineer. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems. The ability to work independently and manage your own workload. A proactive approach to maintenance and safety. Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications or demonstrable experience. Good communication and organisational skills.The hours of work are 6.00am - 2.00pm, however there can be some flexibility with this.
