Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a business that genuinely invests in its people, equipment and engineering function?
We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site operating state-of-the-art automated production machinery. This is an opportunity to become part of a strong engineering team where you'll play a key role in maintaining production reliability and driving continuous improvement.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Reactive breakdown maintenance Electrical fault finding and diagnostics PLC fault finding and automation support Mechanical repairs including bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts and conveyors Continuous improvement projects Supporting production to maximise machine uptime
You'll be working on a range of modern, automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills Previous manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production experience PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar) Experience working with drives, sensors, motors and control systems A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
