A large independent food manufacturer is looking for an experienced
Multi-Skilled Maintenance / Packaging Engineer
to join their growing engineering team. This is a genuinely great opportunity to join a

that continues to invest heavily in its site, equipment and people. Monday to Friday – No Nights & No Weekends The of role operates on a straightforward double-day shift pattern: Week 1:
Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm Week 2:
Monday–Friday, 1pm–9pm NO night shifts or weekend working An excellent opportunity for engineers looking for a strong work-life balance while working within a modern food manufacturing environment. Benefits: £40,000 + paid overtime Plus Company & Individual bonus schemes (up to 5% of salary) Monday to Friday working No nights or weekends Private healthcare Company contributory pension Stable and growing business Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer Maintain production and packaging equipment to maximise uptime. Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults. Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action. Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Support engineering projects, installations and equipment modifications. Work closely with production to maintain safe and efficient operations. Experience Required: Qualified
Maintenance Engineer
– C&G, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC or equivalent. Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical experience, ideally electrically biased. Ideally apprenticeship trained. Proactive approach to fault finding and problem solving. Confident working independently when required. Food manufacturing experience advantageous. The role would suit engineers based in
South Nottingham, North Leicestershire or around Melton Mowbray .
