Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes, supporting our customer Waitrose. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the depot and associated facilities are maintained in a safe operating manner, that the buildings are maintained to the highest possible standards, in accordance with legislation and best practices.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern of 05:30 till 13:30 and 13:30 till 21:30.

What youll do on a typical day:
Assist the Engineering manager to ensure all contractual obligations are carried out fully, successfully and with the minimum disruption. xkybehq
Monitoring/maintenance of large industrial ammonia refrigeration plants, ensuring that it is available and maintained to optimum performance levels at all times
Planned and reactive plumbing and drainage maintenance
Electrical testing and fault finding
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Engineering qualification such City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 is essential
Strong mechanical/electrical skills, ideally being electrically bias would be advantageous
18th Edition wiring is essential
