This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer who enjoys a hands-on mechanical maintenance role within a traditional manufacturing environment. The position offers the chance to work on a wide range of heavy mechanical equipment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum reliability and minimise downtime. The Role As a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site machinery and equipment Responding to mechanical breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs Fault finding and diagnosing issues on heavy manufacturing equipment Maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery including: Lathes Milling machines Presses Workshop machinery Gearboxes Bearings Shafts and drive systems Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems Supporting electrical fault finding, including motors, drives and control ...
