Maintenance Engineer

The basics: Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - must have some electrical skill set Industry: Manufacturing Location: near Coalville Contract length: 1 to 3 months Pay: Negotiable / £35 to £45 per hour Outside IR35 Shift: Monday to Friday - Mornings and Afternoons - 05:30 to 13:30 / 13:30 to 21:30 Overview: We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role: To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time. The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served, apprentice trained or above Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar. An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications. Commutable from: Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicester, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
