About the Role : We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an automated warehouse based in Northampton.
You will be response for the day-to-day maintenance of the fast flowing material handling equipment as well as: Delivery of key service elements such as planned preventative maintenance, fault rectification and fault eradication Ensure all aspects of their working day are logged as per the agreed method Fully interact with the customer in day-to-day activities Identify and resolve issues with the materials handling equipment, including identification of root causes, working proactively with the customer operations team Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and submit proposals Effectively communicate throughout the SSI team and with the customer Requirements : ONC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or PLC Engineering Recognised cross training from Mechanical to Electrical Engineering of vice versa PLC knowledge and experience is advantageous.
Health and Safety Qualifications desirable Experience of automated materials handling equipment Ability to work at height.
Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills desirable.
Good team working skills.
