Maintenance Engineer

CSS Recruitment are looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Witham. Monday - Friday. 07:00 - 16:30 You will play a vital role in a small team to undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on machines based in their factory. Duties: * Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team * Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency * Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding * Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment * Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works. Experience/Qualifications: You will have previously worked within a fast-paced production environment and possess the following skills and experience: * Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) * Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's * Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment * Self-motivated and able to work in a team * You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as:- Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382 * Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage.
