Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Manager (Electrical).

Salary £65K
- £70K Neg Bonus We are seeking an experienced electrical bias maintenance manager to manage & control all maintenance and CAP-ex projects activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Croydon.
The Role: The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all planned & reactive maintenance activities and some CAPEX project work.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following; Maintain and develop the existing CMMS Management & control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractors Plan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projects Effective Budget and CAPEX Project management Monitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement parts Ensure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are met Adopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possible Ensure compliance with all legal and HSE requirements Provide 'Hands-on' assistance with electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance and repair of plant and machinery.
Candidate: You will be an experienced maintenance manager / supervisor with electrical bias.
Applicants will have previous experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector e.g.
chemical plants, plastics, metals, quarry or recycling.
You will have at least 5 years management /supervisory experience and you must me confident in leading a team of engineers and external contractors.
You will hold recognised electrical engineering qualification and ideally you will be trained in health & safety management to IOSH or NEBOSH level.
You will have a recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g.
HNC, degree or 18th edition certification and you will have good knowledge and understanding of plc systems. xwzovoh
