Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative Location: Sheffield / South Yorkshire with UK-wide travel Salary: £31,788 + Company Van + Overtime + Away Allowance Contract Type: Permanent Sector: Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join an established commercial contractor working on fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance projects across the UK. This is a varied role suited to someone with a background in general building, maintenance, joinery, carpentry or construction who enjoys working across different trades rather than specialising in one particular area. You will be involved in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, carrying out general repairs, installation works and a variety of practical building tasks. The role is based around Sheffield, with regular UK travel and occasional periods working away from home. What's on Offer * £31,788 basic salary. * Company van with personal use. * Enhanced overtime rates. * Saturday paid at 1.5x. * Sunday paid at 2x. * Minimum 8-hour payment for weekend work. * Minimum 8-hour daily payment. * Additional bonus when working away. * Food allowance when working away. * 28 days' annual leave. * No on-call requirement. * Permanent position with an established commercial contractor. * Varied commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. * Regular opportunity to work on different sites across the UK. Overtime & Weekend Rates There is plenty of opportunity to earn additional money through overtime, should you wish to take it. * Saturday: Paid at 1.5x the normal rate. * Sunday: Paid at 2x the normal rate. * Weekend work is subject to a minimum payment of 8 hours, regardless of the actual hours worked
