Maintenance Shift Engineer📍 Wednesbury, West Midlands 💷 £40,000 - £44,000 (including shift allowance) ⏰ 4 On / 4 Off Days & Nights Are you a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with excellent training, career progression, and a varied workload? We're recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Wednesbury. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment, helping to keep operations running efficiently and minimise downtime. The Role Planned preventative and reactive maintenance Mechanical fault finding and repairs Basic electrical fault finding and testing Working on: Conveyor systems Industrial washing machines Linen presses Dryers Feeders, folders and ironers Steam and chemical feed systems Predominantly mechanical maintenance. No PLC programming or robotics experience required. What We're Looking For Level 3 Engineering qualification preferred (Level 2 considered) Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, industrial, FMCG, processing, or similar environments Basic electrical fault-finding skills Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach Overseas engineering qualifications considered Shift PatternFollowing a four-week Monday-Friday induction period: 4 Days (06:00-18:00) 4 Off 4 ...
