In the UK, Guardian Glass is continually looking for talented individuals to help us continue our growth and presence in the regional and global market. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Day- Shift Supervisor within our Maintenance & Reliability operation .
This role is ideal for an experienced people leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, developing individuals and driving continuous improvement. While experience in maintenance or engineering would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are primarily looking for someone with strong leadership capability, a passion for developing people and a desire to learn how maintenance and reliability contribute to operational success.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Guardian continue its journey towards a more proactive, planned and reliability-focused approach to plant performance.
Support and advance our PBM culture by helping individuals understand how they can create value and contribute to business success
Build team capability through coaching, development planning, regular feedback and effective performance management.
Work closely with Operations, Reliability, Engineering and Contractors to coordinate resources and deliver safe, efficient outcomes
Support the transition from reactive ways of working towards a more organized, planned and reliability-focused operation
Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, plant reliability and operational performance.
Help attract, select and retain talented individuals who can contribute to the long-term success of the business.
Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, process, logistics or operational environment.
A desire to learn and develop an understanding of maintenance, reliability and asset performance.
Experience within a maintenance, reliability, engineering or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of maintenance planning, asset care or reliability improvement activities.
Experience coordinating work activities, resources and contractors.
Familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems or structured work management processes.
Experience supporting change initiatives and continuous improvement activities
