Maintenance Technician

Shift Maintenance Engineer Location Knowsley Salary £53,000 + pension + 20 days holiday + bonus + overtime Hours 2 days 2 nights | 4 off | 7 – 7 * Seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join a growing company with significant investment. * Modern state of the art facility with plans for further expansion in the near future. * Friendly and growing company with good people, facilities and plenty of support / teamwork. The Job: * Maintain manufacturing and process machinery such as; filling machinery, conveyors, high speed materials processing machines, sensors / switches, pneumatics, PLC’s, bearings, pumps, wrappers, palletizers, labellers, packaging machinery, steam systems. * Reactive and preventive maintenance, changeovers, trials. * Contribute to downtime improvements, HSE. The Person: * Electrical bias preferred but not essential. NVQ 3 or ONC or HNC * Food or beverage industry experience * Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills important. * Suitable backgrounds can include (but not limited to) manufacturing plant experience eg food, beverage, liquid filling, packaging, FMCG, automated warehousing, stackers, sorters / sortation, robotics, sensors, scanners, PLCs, Siemens, TIA, labellers, printing, canning, glass, plastics, pharmaceutical.
