Maintenance Technician Liverpool City Centre £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, 09:3018:00 ASAP start until 4th September Our client is seeking a temporary Maintenance Operative to support day-to-day upkeep across a busy Liverpool City Centre site.

This role is ideal for someone with strong practical ability, a reliable work ethic, and confidence completing general building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities General maintenance
- Carry out routine upkeep and basic repair work across the building.
Basic repairs
- Replace light fittings, change taps, and complete minor plumbing tasks.
Site cleanliness -Ensure all work areas remain clean, tidy, and safe.
Manual handling
- Assist with moving furniture and materials, including chairs, mattresses, and sofas, working alongside the onsite MT.
Issue reporting
- Identify and report maintenance concerns promptly to the relevant team members.
Health & safety compliance
- Follow all site procedures and safety guidelines.
Compliance checks
- Support with fire door inspections, emergency lighting (EML) testing, and other routine compliance tasks where experience allows.
Team support
- Assist the wider team with general site duties as required.
Requirements Maintenance experience
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role is desirable.
Practical skills -Strong hands-on ability with good attention to detail.
Teamwork
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Reliability
- Punctual, dependable, and proactive.
Communication

Procedural awareness Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company processes.
