Management Accountant

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an exciting and growing organisation based in Bicester to recruit a Management Accountant . The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £45,000 plus bonus which takes the overall package up to £49,000-£53,000 . This role also offers hybrid remote working. This organisation uses SAP and ideally are looking for a candidate who has SAP experience . Primary responsibilities; Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts in accordance with Group reporting requirements. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial records are complete, accurate, and compliant. Review and analyse profit and loss accounts, investigating and explaining variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods. Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate supporting documentation. Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and provisions. Monitor project financial performance, including revenue recognition, margins and service profitability. Review Work-in-Progress (WIP) balances ensuring accurate project cost allocations. Analyse labour utilization, overhead recovery, and operational costs performance to identify risks Support inventory valuation and cost accounting processes where applicable. Prepare annual cost planning for charge out rates to support decision making. Ensure compliance with Group Financial Policies, accounting standards and local statutory requirements. Support tax compliance activities, including VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE, P11D and other regulatory reporting obligations. Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations. Key experience and attributes; Experience: Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-national environment. Proficient Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Customer Orientation: Strong focus on internal and external customer needs and service-oriented mindset. Cross-Cultural Interaction: Effective communication skills in diverse cultural environments. CRM & ERP Experience: Proficient in SAP. Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities. Team Player: Outstanding team player who fosters a positive team spirit. Meticulous Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and precision in all tasks.
