Management Accountant | Grantham | £40,000 - £50,000 | Hybrid A well established, owner-managed SME in Grantham is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team and report directly into the Head of Finance. This is a proper hands-on Management Accountant role in a business where finance actually matters. You won't be hidden away processing numbers that nobody reads. You'll be producing insight that the leadership team and owner genuinely uses to make decisions. The business has grown steadily over recent years and the finance function needs to grow with it. They're looking for a Management Accountant who can take ownership of the month end process, deliver accurate and timely management accounts, and start to add real value with business partnering. What you'll be doing: Full ownership of month end management accounts Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Working closely with the Head of Finance on reporting improvements Getting involved in commercial analysis and projects Playing a genuine part in shaping how the finance function develops What they're looking for: Solid management accountant experience in an SME or mid-sized business Someone who takes ownership and doesn't need to be chased This is a business that values its people and promotes from within.
