We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Manchester city centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.

Post and maintain prepayments and accruals.

Process payroll journals and complete associated reconciliations.

Prepare variance analysis with clear commentary for senior management.

Produce Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports for senior stakeholders.

Prepare and distribute flash reporting packs and key financial performance reports.

Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all control accounts.

Support the implementation of new finance systems and identify opportunities to improve financial processes.

Assist with corporate tax analysis, year-end activities and audit preparation.

Work closely with the wider Finance team and support ad hoc financial projects as required.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or nearing completion) and has the following experience and skills:

• Previous experience preparing monthly management accounts

Strong understanding of month-end processes, accruals and prepayments.

Experience carrying out balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.

Ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using finance systems. xkybehq
