Management Accountant

Orka Financial is recruiting a commercially minded Management Accountant for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Slough. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, combining reliable month-end delivery with the insight needed to support operational decisions. Duties include,

• Deliver monthly management accounts, balance-sheet reporting and meaningful performance commentary.
• Review production costs, labour, overheads and variances to highlight risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate inventory reporting, including valuations, provisions and stock-count support.
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, close activity, audit work and financial controls.
• Work closely with operational teams to improve reporting, processes and commercial outcomes.
• Support indirect-tax reporting across several European jurisdictions.

Experience required,

• Three to five years’ management accounting experience, ideally gained in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using a recognised ERP platform.
• Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or an equivalent professional background.
• A clear communicator who can turn financial detail into practical recommendations.

The salary is up to £45,000 (DOE) + benefits
