This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio while playing a key role in the firm's continued expansion across the North West. Initially operating as a fully remote position, this role has a clear progression pathway into a Regional Head position, where you will lead the firm's Manchester presence, help shape its long-term strategy and support the growth of the local team. This opportunity would suit an ambitious Insolvency Manager looking to take the next step towards senior leadership within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment. The Role You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, compliantly and to the highest professional standards. Working closely with Insolvency Practitioners, you will oversee case progression, support and mentor junior team members, maintain strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to business development as the regional office continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations and Liquidations. Oversee cases from appointment through to closure, ensuring statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements are met. Act as the primary point of contact for directors, creditors, solicitors and other stakeholders. Review reports, correspondence and statutory documentation prepared by the team. Supervise, mentor and develop junior members of staff. Assist Insolvency Practitioners with complex technical matters and case strategy. Ensure compliance with current insolvency legislation, SIPs and internal procedures. Support business development initiatives and help strengthen the firm's presence across the Manchester market. Play an active role in the future development of the regional office, with a clear pathway into a Regional Head position. About You To be successful, you will have: Significant experience managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases. A strong technical understanding of UK insolvency legislation and procedures. Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff. Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work autonomously within a fully remote environment. A commercial mindset with ambitions to progress into senior leadership. CPI qualification, JIEB is advantageous but not essential What's on Offer Fully remote working.
