Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Engineer/ Industrial Engineering Specialist to act as the focal point for ramp up activities within a dynamic aerospace environment.

This role will be responsible for driving the deployment, optimisation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and industrial systems across the value stream.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, and Programme teams to ensure robust industrial solutions are developed and implemented to support operational excellence, manufacturing readiness, and business growth.

Experience with DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and APRISO Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems is highly desirable. However, candidates with equivalent experience in other digital manufacturing, MES, MOM, ERP, or Industry 4.0 platforms will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the industrial engineering focal point for manufacturing programmes, projects, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of digital manufacturing solutions supporting production and industrial operations.
  • Support the deployment and governance of DELMIA 3DX, APRISO, or equivalent Manufacturing Operations Management systems.
  • Translate business and manufacturing requirements into effective industrial solutions.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process flows, work instructions, routing structures, and production system configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support industrialisation, process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through the development of manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Champion Industry 4.0 initiatives including digital manufacturing, connectivity, automation, process standardisation, and smart factory solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to stakeholders across manufacturing and engineering functions.
  • Support supplier engagement and collaboration where required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience within an aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, automotive, or highly regulated engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial engineering principles.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing transformation, operational excellence, or digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), manufacturing operations management (MOM), ERP integration, or production control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams.
