Manufacturing Engineer Telford 15 Month Fixed term contract Competitive + Benefits Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week A leading international manufacturer is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team on a fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or Process Engineer to support new product introduction (NPI) activities, process improvement projects and engineering change implementation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Whilst experience within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous, candidates from other manufacturing sectors will be considered if they have strong experience of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing creation, manufacturing processes, continuous improvement and production engineering. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: * Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including process trials, product launches and engineering changes * Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), routing information and manufacturing data within the ERP system * Developing process documentation including PFMEAs, process flow charts, standard work instructions and control documentation * Supporting PPAP submissions and associated launch documentation * Driving Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve quality, efficie...
