Manufacturing Team Leader (rotation / morning shift)

Altro are recruiting for a Manufacturing Fabrication Team Leader to join our Value Added Services team within our Manufacturing plant based in Letchworth Garden City . This role will be working on a rotating double day shift, Monday to Friday. Our Value Added Services team are responsible for cutting and designing bespoke flooring orders, mainly for the transport industry. Altro | Flooring Manufacturers & Wall Cladding Suppliers | Altro UK The Team Leader will be responsible for the ongoing development and coaching of up to 6 Technicians on each shift. You will ensure Health and Safety is always of the highest priority and environmental objectives are fulfilled including risk/COSHH assessments, SOP and audits. You will support the application of 5S, visual management and continuous improvement to deliver an inspiring and highly efficient operation, while using Lean tools and techniques to deliver the most effective processes and ensure smooth day to day running of the function, in line with the operational targets. We are looking for someone with proven experience in managing and developing people within a manufacturing/ fabrication environment. High levels of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret production specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
