The Role

You'll be responsible for assembling, repairing and modifying precision-engineered products while ensuring every build meets strict engineering and quality standards. Working with specialist equipment and technical documentation, you'll contribute to the manufacture of complex products within a controlled production environment.

You'll also play an important role in maintaining product quality, supporting audits and sharing best practice with colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair and modify mechanical and electromechanical products to engineering specifications

• Carry out manufacturing activities using specialist tools, equipment and measuring instruments

• Complete build documentation and production records accurately

• Ensure all products meet quality and certification requirements before release

• Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the manufacturing process

• Support inspection activities and product audits where required

• Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards and safe working practices

• Contribute to continuous improvement and share technical knowledge within the team


Skills & Experience

• Completed a Level 3 Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering apprenticeship

• Hold relevant Level 3 engineering qualifications such as NVQ, Diploma or ONC

• Experience working within a manufacturing, production or assembly environment

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation

• Experience using precision hand tools and measuring equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Good organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team

• Flexible approach and willingness to support a variety of manufacturing activities
