Morson Edge are currently seeking multiple Manufacturing Technicians for our large Aerospace Client based in Edinburgh on a contracting basis. This will be working on a shifts basis with a 4 on 4 off routine.

Job Description:
What you will do as a Manufacturing Technician:
Assemble high-precision components using Automated machines, hand tools, tweezers, microscopes, or magnification systems
Previous experience of Auto Assembly machines such as MRSI is preferred and/or experience of gold wire Auto bonding machines such as HESSE, Palomar or K&S.
Perform fine alignment, fitting, and adjustment of components
Conduct detailed visual inspections to identify defects not detectable by automated systems
Follow exacting work instructions and standard operating procedures
Maintain cleanroom or controlled-environment discipline where required
Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve precision-related issues

Good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to manipulate extremely small parts with consistent accuracy
Attention to detail and error detection xwzovoh
Previous work in precision manufacturing, micro-assembly, electronics or similar fields
Manufacturing / Production working environment (Cleanroom & Temperature and Humidity Controlled)
Familiarity with precision hand tools and micro-assembly equipment
