As a Marine Engineering Training Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Providing specialist engineering and nuclear expertise to the training design process. You’ll have the opportunity to support the development of the recently established Skills business, which provides a wide range of engineering training courses. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver classroom and simulator based training to Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operators and Marine Engineering Equipment Maintainers Collaborating with the training design team to update the courseware based on technical changes and identifying the impact of those changes Providing SME support to evaluate technical data and notifications of change on existing Marine Engineering and Nuclear Steam Raising Plant courseware Delivering additional training (Confined Space, Working at Height, etc.) to students outside the ACTS program, ensuring it meets prescribed quality and cost standards Supporting the routine review and revision of the courseware. Skills and Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of Naval Nuclear Steam Raising Plant operation Recent experience in this field with both up-to-date knowledge and hands-on practical skills Comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously Be an engaging communicator with the ability to capture audience attention and deliver information effectively.
