Materials Controller

Job Title: Materials Controller Reference: MC-KID-01 Location: Kidderminster Rate: £15.07 per hour Job Type: Ongoing Contract Materials Controller – Kidderminster – £15.07 per hour – Ongoing Work ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Materials Controller to join a busy site in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor on a long-term project. As the Materials Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site by managing the delivery, storage, and distribution of construction materials. Key Responsibilities: * Receiving and checking all site deliveries. * Organising and maintaining the materials storage areas. * Issuing materials to site operatives as required. * Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. * Liaising with suppliers and site management regarding deliveries. * Keeping accurate records of deliveries and stock movements. * Ensuring materials are stored safely and securely. * Maintaining a clean and organised yard and storage areas. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Materials Controller, Stores Person, Yard Operative or similar role on a construction site. * Good organisational and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail. * Forklift/Telehandler experience or certification is advantageous but not essential. * CSCS Card preferred.
